San Andreas Department of Transportation
1. Overview
The San Andreas Department of Transportation (SADOT) is responsible for maintaining roadway safety and assisting emergency services throughout San Andreas.

Failure to read and follow this SOP may result in denial or removal from SADOT. New members begin as probationary operators and are considered part-time until fully trained. Promotions are handled by High Command based on performance, professionalism, and activity.
2. Chain of Command
- Commissioner
- Deputy Commissioner
- Supervisor
- Senior Operator
- Operator
- Trainee
Orders from higher-ranking personnel must always be followed unless they conflict with server rules or administration policies.
3. Uniform & Vehicles
- Approved SADOT uniforms are required while on duty
- Department vehicles may only be used for roleplay purposes
- Emergency lighting and traffic equipment may not be abused
- Vehicles must remain realistic and properly parked on scenes
4. Call Signs
SADOT units use the call sign prefix Hotel (H).
- Hotel-1-14 → Supervisor
- H-15 → Training Supervisor
- H-22 to H-121 → Technician / Operator
- Prob-O → Probationary Operator
All units must identify themselves properly over the radio using their assigned call sign.
5. Radio Protocol
- Keep all communications professional and clear
- No unnecessary chatter or spam
- Respect radio priority at all times
- Emergency Traffic

- General Communication
6. Scene Operations
Traffic Control
- Set up cones, barriers, signs, and arrow boards correctly
- Maintain safe traffic flow around incidents
- Never block EMS or law enforcement access routes
Road Closures
- Closures require supervisor approval unless in emergencies
- All closures must include proper detours and warning signs
Accident Assistance
- Assist Police, Fire, and EMS on active scenes
- Handle lane closures and scene protection
- Remove debris when approved
- Provide additional scene lighting when necessary
7. Tow & Recovery
- Vehicles may only be towed when authorized
- Do not interfere with active investigations
- Major roads should be cleared as quickly and safely as possible
- Always roleplay recovery realistically
8. Professional Conduct
- No fail roleplay, trolling, or unrealistic actions
- Treat all players and departments respectfully
- Remain in character while on duty
- Represent SADOT professionally at all times
9. Use of Lights & Equipment
- Amber lights are for caution only
- SADOT does not receive emergency traffic priority
- Arrow boards must be used during lane closures
- Red lights may only be crossed if scene-related and safe
10. Disciplinary Actions
Failure to follow SOP or server rules may result in disciplinary action.

- Suspension
- Removal from SADOT
11. Cooperation With Other Departments
- Law Enforcement controls crime scenes
- Fire Department controls fire and rescue operations
- SADOT supports all emergency services when requested
- Maintain professional communication with all agencies
